Inter Milan reached their second Champions League final in three years after a breathtaking 4-3 extra-time victory over Barcelona (7-6 on aggregate) on Tuesday.
Inter twice led by two goals, with Lautaro Martínez and Hakan Çalhanoğlu scoring in the first half.
However, Barcelona fought back through Eric García, Dani Olmo, and Raphinha to lead 3-2 late on.
But Francesco Acerbi’s dramatic 93rd-minute equalizer forced extra time, where substitute Davide Frattesi’s stunning strike in the 99th minute sealed a memorable win for Inter.
Goalkeeper Yann Sommer also made crucial late saves to deny Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal.
The 13-goal thriller equaled the Champions League semi-final scoring record.
Inter will now face either Paris St-Germain or Arsenal in the final. For Barcelona, focus shifts to Sunday’s El Clasico against Real Madrid.
