David Beckham and Gary Neville head a new consortium that has bought Salford City, taking over from the rest of the ‘Class of ’92’.
Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, and Phil Neville are no longer shareholders but will remain involved in various club roles.
Beckham expressed pride in the new chapter alongside Neville.
The ‘Class of ’92’ initially took over in 2014, with Beckham joining in 2019, leading to four promotions to League Two.
The new owners, including Lord Mervyn Davies and Dream Sports Group, have pledged significant investment.
Gary Neville highlighted the aim for “sustainability” within five years.
