Kaizer Chiefs clinched the Nedbank Cup title, ending a decade-long trophy drought with an entertaining 2-1 victory over Orlando Pirates at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Yusuf Maart’s late goal secured the win after Gaston Sirino’s early penalty for Chiefs was cancelled out by Evidence Makgopa’s header for Pirates.
Chiefs last won major silverware in 2015.
The tense final saw both sides create chances, but Maart’s strike in the 80th minute proved decisive.
