Jake Paul has declared he will “embarrass” former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in their June 28th boxing match at the Honda Center.
Paul (11-1, 7 KOs), who previously fought MMA fighters and Mike Tyson, acknowledged Chavez Jr. (54-6-1, 34 KOs) as a step up but insisted he would make the Mexican “quit.”
Chavez Jr. dismissed Paul as “overrated,” while his father, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr., vehemently defended his son’s chances.
Despite some fans hoping for a Chavez Jr. victory, others predict another win for Paul, whose polarizing persona continues to draw significant attention to his boxing endeavors.
