Fresh in the Uganda Premier League, Gaddafi have wrapped up the signing of agile and versatile midfielder Hassan Ssenyonjo.
The attacking midfielder has been a free agent having exited relegated outfit Wakiso Giants. At the time of his exit, he was the skipper for The Purple Sharks.
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old has penned down a two-year employment contract with the Entebbe-based outfit, that will run until the 2026/27 campaign.
“We are thrilled to welcome Hassan Ssenyonjo to the Printers. A dynamic addition to our squad, he brings quality, experience and hunger for success,” a club statement confirmed.
Ssenyonjo has been at Wakiso Giants for the past six seasons, playing over 160 games, and is largely regarded a club great. Last season, the club named a stand after him, rewarding his extraordinary service.
He becomes the club’s first signing of the window. Meanwhile, recently, Gaddafi unveiled Abdallah Mubiru as their head coach. The club also added Charles Livingstone Mbabazi, Edward Ssali and Godfrey Walusimbi to the coaching staff.
