Tottenham Hotspur have appointed Igor Tudor as interim head coach until the end of the season following the sacking of Thomas Frank.
The 47-year-old Croatian arrives with Spurs sitting just five points above the relegation zone.
Tudor, who has managed Juventus, Marseille, and Lazio, was most recently dismissed by the Italian giants in October 2025 following an eight-match winless run.
Spurs officials moved quickly to ensure a manager was in place for Monday’s training session. While the club considered Edin Terzic and Marco Rose, they opted for Tudor due to his reputation for making an immediate impact.
The appointment has been met with skepticism from fans, many of whom questioned Tudor’s lack of Premier League experience. “A wild punt when there is no time or place for one,” remarked one supporter.
Tudor could be considered for the permanent role if he impresses, though rumors persist linking Mauricio Pochettino and Roberto De Zerbi to the job this summer.
For now, Tudor’s sole mission is to steer Tottenham away from the drop.
