Manchester United boss Michael Carrick has warned his side to expect a stern challenge when they visit Bournemouth on Friday night.
United, third in the Premier League, have been revitalized under Carrick since January, bouncing back from defeat at Newcastle with a 3-1 win over Aston Villa.
But Bournemouth, unbeaten in 10 league games, have troubled United before — including December’s 4-4 draw at Old Trafford.
“They’re on a really good run of form… always a difficult game,” Carrick said.
United will be without Matthijs de Ligt, Patrick Dorgu and Lisandro Martinez, though Martinez is set to return after the international break.
With a rare 24-day gap before their next fixture, Carrick stressed the need for flexibility to keep momentum alive.
