FAR Rabat made history by booking their maiden CAF Champions League final spot, edging RS Berkane 2–1 on aggregate despite a 1–0 defeat in the semi‑final second leg.
Yassine Lebhiri’s penalty gave Berkane hope, but Rabat’s defensive discipline and goalkeeper Ahmed Tagnaouti’s saves ensured they held firm.
The Moroccan side, champions of the old African Cup in 1985, now face South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns in the final.
