Ugandan forward Denis Omedi is on the brink of leaving Rwandan champions APR FC, with an official announcement expected in the coming days.
The highly-rated attacker, once a Puskás Award nominee, has become one of the most sought-after players in the region. Multiple clubs from Saudi Arabia and Tanzania are reportedly in discussions to secure his signature ahead of the new season.
Omedi joined APR with high expectations and quickly cemented his place in the attacking setup. His pace, creativity, and eye for goal have drawn attention far beyond Rwanda, making him a prime target for clubs looking to bolster their frontline.
His anticipated departure comes amid sweeping squad changes at APR. The club has already confirmed the exits of foreign players Soune Aliou, Mamadou Sy, and Mohamadou Lamine as part of a roster reshaping ahead of the upcoming campaign.
APR has yet to reveal Omedi’s next destination, but speculation continues to mount as fans await official communication from the club.
