The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has begun the review of the FUFA Competitions Rules, Edition 2026, in a move aimed at strengthening governance and improving football standards across the country.
In a communication issued through Circular No. 1217, FUFA called upon football stakeholders to actively participate in the process by submitting written proposals, recommendations and observations that could help improve the current regulations governing football competitions.
The federation said the review forms part of its ongoing efforts to modernise football administration and ensure that competition rules remain responsive to the evolving needs of the game.
The exercise provides clubs, administrators, players, coaches, referees and other football stakeholders with an opportunity to contribute to the development of the regulatory framework that guides competitions at various levels of Ugandan football.
FUFA has directed that all submissions be addressed to the FUFA Secretariat and sent via email to [email protected].
Stakeholders have until 26 June 2026 to submit their proposals for consideration as the federation works towards refining the rules that govern football competitions in Uganda.
