Organized for clubs in the FUFA Women Super League and FUFA Women Elite League, the course was led by expert instructor Jamil Ssewanyana.

The training comprised both theoretical and practical lessons to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge in effective pitch maintenance and management.

The theory sessions took place at MultiTech Business School in Kampala, providing a strong academic foundation for the participants.

These sessions covered a wide range of topics necessary for understanding the principles and practices of groundskeeping.

Practical lessons were conducted at Mandela National Stadium, offering hands-on experience in maintaining and managing sports pitches.

FUFA say that the combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills ensured that participants were well-prepared to apply their training in real-world settings.

FUFA Deputy CEO-Football Decolas Kiiza highlighted the importance of such training programs in enhancing the quality of football infrastructure.

Instructor Jamil Ssewanyana expressed satisfaction with the participants’ dedication and progress throughout the course.
