Kampala Queens have made a significant splash in the transfer market, securing the services of three highly sought-after players.
The club has completed the high-profile signing of forward Naigaga Kamiyat from Asubo Gafford Ladies on a three-year deal.
Kamiyat, renowned for her blistering pace, exceptional game interpretation, and clinical finishing, was the subject of intense interest from several clubs, including She Makerere FC.
Kampala Queens, however, managed to secure her signature at the eleventh hour. Her addition is expected to provide a major boost to the team’s attacking prowess.
Joining Kamiyat at Kampala Queens is Nakayiwa Miriam, a talented left-back who also joins from Asubo Gafford Ladies.
Miriam’s defensive solidity and ability to contribute to the team’s attacking play will be invaluable assets.
In addition to these two signings, Kampala Queens has also reunited Kamiyat with her former teammate, Zaitun Namaganda, who joins from Wakiso Hills WFC on a two-year deal.
The duo’s previous chemistry and understanding of each other’s game are expected to be a major asset for the club.
The club is aiming to bounce back from last season’s disappointment and challenge for the league title in the upcoming campaign.
