West Nile-based FUFA Big League side, Onduparaka, suffered a shock defeat in their second match of the season, falling 2-0 to newly promoted Buhimba United Saints at Kigaaya play grounds in Hoima.
The Caterpillars, who had opened their campaign with a goalless draw against Paidha Black Angels, were unable to find their scoring touch in their second outing.
Their failure to convert a penalty in the first half proved costly as they fell behind to Lucas Mola’s goal shortly after the restart.
Mola added a second goal in the 74th minute to seal Buhimba United Saints’ maiden victory in the FUFA Big League.
The defeat leaves Onduparaka in a precarious position, having picked up just one point from their opening two matches.
Meanwhile, Buhimba United Saints won their first game of the season with a convincing performance.
In other news from the FUFA Big League, Masindi Booma football club recorded a 1-0 victory over Paidha Black Angels in Masindi.
