Tyson Fury Praises Usyk, Vows to Reclaim Title in Rematch

Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has expressed admiration for Oleksandr Usyk, the man who dethroned him in May, but has vowed to reclaim the undisputed title in their highly anticipated rematch on December 21st.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the fight, Fury acknowledged Usyk’s victory in their first encounter, stating, “Oleksandr won the first fight fair and square. It was very close last time.”

However, Fury remains confident in his abilities and believes that the outcome of the rematch will be different.

“I’m looking forward to a fantastic fight,” Fury said. “Nothing drastic has to change. A bit more of the same, a bit more focused, and I will be victorious. Last time it wasn’t my time to win or God would have given me victory. I’m very happy Usyk got the decision. That was meant to be, and we’re going to find out what is meant to be on December 21.”

Fury has also revealed that he plans to adjust his fighting strategy for the rematch, aiming to avoid a close decision.

“I don’t think I’m going to get a boxing decision, so I’m going to have to take it out of the judges’ hands,” he said. “I’ve got to get him (Usyk) out of there.”

The rematch between Fury and Usyk is one of the most highly anticipated boxing matches of the year, with both fighters promising a thrilling showdown.
