The dinner served as a moment of pride and camaraderie, with players, coaches, and team officials joining Ambassador Magara in reflecting on the team’s journey through the qualifiers.

Speaking at the event, H.E. Magara congratulated the team on their achievement, emphasizing the unity and determination that propelled them to success.

Midfielder Travis Mutyaba, who scored the winning goal in the match against Congo, was lauded for his performance, while the entire team received encouragement to prepare diligently for the AFCON tournament in Morocco next year.

Focus for the Uganda Cranes turns to the CHAN 2025 qualifiers next month with Uganda set to co-host the tournament in February.
