Phillip Wokorach started his rugby journey back at Hana Mixed School in Nsanji in 2013, and he won trophies during his time at the school. It’s at Hana Mixed School where he completed his secondary schooling.
He later joined Uganda Christian University in Mukono for his bachelor’s degree in business administration.

According to Phillip Wokorach in an interview with #NBSportThisMorning, the Star player stated that “rugby helped me get a scholarship at Hana school, where my career fully kicked off before joining Heathens RFC after my A-Level.”

During his time at Uganda Christian University, Wokorach featured for by then-MTN Heathens, and now it’s Platinum Credit Heathens.
Wokorach joined the A.S.B.C. in the 2020-2021 season, and the former Heathens and Kabras Sugar star joined the ASBC from Federal 3 (Division 5) side Bourges XV, which he joined in 2019.

Moving to ASBC felt like a dream come true for the Ugandan star player because it has always been a journey for him to strive to make it to the Top 14.

Phillip Wokorach is a three-time Africa 7s champion. He is perhaps Uganda’s biggest rugby export, having dominated the Kenyan scene before moving to France in 2019.
He is often Uganda’s top point scorer on the international stage. At the 2018 Rugby World Cup Sevens in San Francisco, USA, Wokorach scored 30 points, including four tries.

The France-based player is often only able and available to participate in a few sessions before major tournaments in France.
Phillip Wokorach recently founded the PW15 Foundation, which is aimed at empowering talented young people to achieve their dreams.
He still continues to inspire many generations with his game of rugby in that so many young Ugandan rugby players and other athletes look up to him.
