Despite relentless efforts from Agnes Nabukennya, Kawempe Muslim couldn’t find the back of the net.

“We will bounce back in the remaining two games,” vowed Kawempe Muslim captain Phiona Nabulime.
Echoing a similar sentiment, She Corporates player Aminah Babirye expressed confidence in a stronger performance in the second round.

Kawempe Muslim assistant coach Moses Nkata emphasized the need to improve their goal-scoring efficiency.

“It’s time to work on how we can convert our chances into goals going forward,” he stated.

Hassan Isa, head coach of She Corporates, indicated plans to strengthen the squad during the January transfer window.

Elsewhere in the league, Lady Doves secured a 3-1 victory over Rines SS, propelling them to second place in the standings with 20 points while Uganda Martyrs suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Makerere University in their return to their home ground, St. Gerald Stadium Rubaga.

The Women Super League action resumes with two crucial fixtures ass Kampala Queens visit She Maroons and Amus College host Tooro Queens.

Kawempe Muslim currently leads the league with 21 points, followed by Lady Doves with 20 points, and Kampala Queens in third place with 18 points.
