Silverback’s Adam Seiko signs contract with NBA team, Golden State Warriors for the Summer League

Silverbacks Guard Adam Seiko has inked a Summer League contract with the Golden State Warriors, marking a significant milestone in his basketball journey. This announcement comes just three months after Seiko went head-to-head with his brother Arthur Kaluma during the Creighton vs. SDSU Elite Eight matchup.

With an impressive record of 120 victories, Seiko holds the title for the all-time winningest player in SDSU and Mountain West history. Despite his modest average of 5.8 points, Seiko’s exceptional 45.8 percent shooting accuracy from beyond the arc aligns perfectly with the Warriors’ emphasis on the three-point shot. If he had taken more attempts, Seiko would have ranked second in Division I, only behind New Orleans guard Jordan Johnson.

The upcoming Las Vegas Summer League, commencing on July 7, offers an exciting opportunity for Seiko to showcase his skills alongside the Golden State Warriors. Additionally, there is a possibility of a face-off with his former teammate Nathan Mensah, who recently signed with the Charlotte Hornets and will participate in the California Classic Summer League.

The NBA Summer League provides a platform for teams to test out new rosters consisting of rookie, sophomore, and G League players, aiming to identify potential additions to their regular season line-ups.

Fans eagerly anticipate Seiko’s performances as he takes on this new chapter in his basketball career, hopeful for his rise as a future star within the Golden State Warriors organization.
