URA FC Inks Two-Year Deal with “The Hunter” Ivan Ahimbisibwe

The tax collectors, URA FC have  signed   Ivan Ahimbisibwe, who has committed to a two-year contract with the club. The talented striker joins URA FC from the UPDF FC according to the an official statement by the club’s website.

Known as “The Hunter” for his goal-scoring prowess, Ahimbisibwe earned recognition as UPDF FC’s leading goal scorer in the past two seasons, consistently netting 10 goals per season. His exceptional performances even earned him the title of Most Valuable Player for his former club in the previous season.

Ahimbisibwe’s journey in club football began at Synergy FC, where he showcased his natural ability to find the back of the net between 2015 and 2018, eventually becoming the club’s all-time leading scorer.

In 2019, he made a move to Nyamityobora FC, based in Mbarara, where he continued to impress, scoring an impressive 15 goals in his debut season. His outstanding performances caught the attention of UPDF FC, leading to his transfer in 2021.

Aside from his achievements on the football field, Ahimbisibwe is a product of Mbarara Sports Academy and holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Social Administration from Makerere University Business School (MUBS).
