Uganda’s Dr. Donald Rukare Elected as Vice-President for Commonwealth Games Federation

In a significant development for Ugandan sports leadership, Dr. Donald Rukare has been elected as one of the Vice-Presidents for the Commonwealth Games Federation. This news comes on the heels of the recent election of Chris Jenkins OBE as the President of the Commonwealth Games Federation, outlining a vision for a sustainable future in the world of sports.

According to the Commonwealth Games Federation’s official announcement, Dr. Donald Rukare joins a select group of leaders tasked with shaping the future of the Commonwealth Games. His election reflects not only personal recognition but also stands as a testament to Uganda’s growing influence in the international sports arena.
