Eight Premier League players have been nominated for the prestigious 2025 Ballon d’Or award.
Liverpool leads all clubs with four nominees: Alexis Mac Allister, Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and new signing Florian Wirtz.
Other Premier League stars on the 30-man shortlist include Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, and Arsenal duo Declan Rice and Viktor Gyokeres.
The Premier League also has a strong presence in other award categories. Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez is a candidate for the Yachine Trophy for best goalkeeper.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s Enzo Maresca and Liverpool’s Arne Slot are up for Men’s Team Coach of the Year, and their clubs are nominated for Men’s Club of the Year.
Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly and Chelsea’s Estevao Willian are both vying for the Kopa Trophy for the best under-21 player.
