Marc Marquez powered to pole position at Balaton Park on Saturday, overcoming a lap‑one crash in qualifying to lead an all‑Spanish front row.

The Ducati rider edged KTM’s Pedro Acosta by 0.053 seconds, with Fermin Aldeguer of Ducati‑Gresini third.

The session opened with chaos as Marquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio of Ducati‑VR46 both went down almost simultaneously. Both remounted, with Di Giannantonio salvaging fourth place.

Marquez’s pole is a timely boost as he seeks to rejoin the title fight, while Acosta and Aldeguer underline Spain’s growing grip on MotoGP.
