Juventus have appointed Giovanni Carnevali as CEO and general manager following Damien Comolli’s departure after a disappointing season.
Comolli, formerly of Liverpool, Tottenham and Toulouse, left “by mutual agreement” after clashes with coach Luciano Spalletti and Juve’s sixth‑place Serie A finish. The club also failed in Europe, losing to Galatasaray in the Champions League play‑offs.
Carnevali, 65, arrives from Sassuolo, where his work in player development and trading kept the small club competitive in Serie A.
“I am proud and honoured to join a club with such a rich history,” he said, pledging to restore Juve’s strength domestically and internationally.
