Corentin Moutet has lost nearly all his Queen’s Club prize money after being fined $40,000 (£30,325) for swearing seven times in a live BBC interview.
The French world number 36 earned about £32,800 for reaching round two but saw it wiped out by the ATP’s maximum penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct. He has appealed.

Moutet, 27, had beaten compatriot Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard before the outburst, then lost to Spain’s Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. He later claimed on Instagram he was “just joking.”
The Parisian has a history of disciplinary issues, including being defaulted in Adelaide 2022 and dropped by the French Tennis Federation for poor behaviour.
