With just 26 days left until the T20 Cricket World Cup in the West Indies and USA, the Uganda senior men’s national team, the Cricket Cranes, is expected to announce their final squad today at 1 pm.
The Cricket Cranes, who moved camp from Galle to Colombo over the weekend after defeating Sri Lanka, are currently on a rigorous 15-day tour in Sri Lanka.
Since Uganda’s World Cup fixtures will be played under floodlights, the team will train under those conditions after relocating from Galle to Colombo, where they will also play two more games against Sri Lanka Army and Sri Lanka Police.
The Cricket Cranes are scheduled to return to Uganda on May 11th.
