The comprehensive eight-point plan, detailed in a letter dated May 20, 2024, specifies all time frames and procedures.
Online registration and district qualifiers will commence on May 25, 2024, with online registration closing on June 25, 2024, and district qualifiers concluding on June 15, 2024.
Zonal qualifiers will then follow, starting on June 10, 2024, and ending on June 30, 2024.
Subsequent activities include payments and verification, beginning on June 20, 2024, and concluding on July 3, 2024.
The period for replacements at the zone level will run from July 1, 2024, to July 4, 2024, with national replacements scheduled for July 4, 2024.
The launch and national draws are set for July 5, 2024, leading up to the eagerly anticipated National Championships, which will span from July 9, 2024, to July 17, 2024.
This year’s Ball Games II will take place at Teso College Aloet in Soroti district during the month of July. Organizers anticipate this edition to be even more competitive and vibrant compared to last year’s event, which was hosted by St. Mary’s College Rushoroza in the Kigezi region, Kabale district.
The registration and transfer guidelines will mirror those successfully implemented during the Fresh Dairy Secondary School Games and the Boys Football Championship held in Masaka earlier this year.
The USSSA Ball Games II will include various sports disciplines such as netball, volleyball, football U16, basketball 3×3, rugby 7’s, handball, athletics, cross country, woodball, dance sport, beach soccer, beach volleyball, and lacrosse.
