Uganda’s David Onama Knocks Out Gabriel Santos at UFC Fight Night

David Onama, the “Silent Assassin” of Ugandan Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), secured an impressive victory over Gabriel Santos at UFC Fight Night: Emmett vs Topuria. The bout took place at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, FL on Saturday

In the second round, Onama (11-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) showcased his striking skills, landing a powerful combination that sent Santos (10-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC) to the canvas. The referee stopped the fight at 4 minutes and 13 seconds, declaring Onama the winner by knockout.

This win marked Onama’s successful return to the Octagon after a previous defeat in August 2022. Santos, on the other hand, suffered his second consecutive loss.
