Unleashing Talent and Determination: Week Four of the Uganda Boxing Champions League Leaves Fans Breathless

Week four of the Uganda Boxing Champions League featured a thrilling exhibition of talent and tenacity, providing fans with an evening of high-stakes matches that had spectators on the edge of their seats. The highlight of the event was the exciting fight between Geko Solomon and Zikama Sabath in the Elite 91kg division.

Geko triumphed in a memorable match, earning a decisive split decision score of 5:0. The fight between Geko Solomon and Zikama Sabath lived up to the hype, with both boxers showcasing their training and giving it their all in the ring.

Other divisions also witnessed outstanding performances during the action-packed evening. Nkobeza Yusuf crushed Nsambi Ronald in the Elite 75kg category, securing a flawless 5:0 victory. Ssali Ezra prevailed over Kayongo Shafick in the Exhibition Bout after a tough battle, with a score of 3:2. In the women’s division, Latifah Gift won the Junior 52kg class by defeating Nalunga Nuru and claiming the title. Matovu Livingstone emerged victorious over Said Ibrahim with a unanimous 5:0 decision in the Youth 57kg class.

The night’s excitement continued with Walugembe Shahari’s 3:2 split victory against Mpanga Ashraf in the Youth 71kg category. Sekito Arafat won unanimously with a score of 5:0 against Ouma Aron in the Junior 54kg division. Semugaire John secured a 3:2 split victory in round 2 against Byabagambe Anwar in the Youth 75kg category, while Iga Ashraf sealed the win with a knockout in the Junior 60kg category. Additionally, Wasswa Jonathan emerged victorious with a unanimous 5:0 score against Nasinge Garvin in the Junior 60kg division.

In other news, the fifth week of the Uganda Boxing Champions League is scheduled to begin this weekend at Lugogo on July 1. You wouldn’t want to miss the exciting lineup of matches that the forthcoming event has in store, with the main fight featuring Kyobe Jonathan from Lukanga Boxing Club against Mulungi Khassim from Eastcoast Boxing Club in the Feather 57kg category.

Boxing enthusiasts can expect an incredible evening of action starting at 4 PM, with matches being broadcast on NBS Sport and the Afro Mobile App, further elevating the sport in Uganda.
