Teams Confirmed for 2024 National Badminton League

The Uganda Badminton Association has released the schedule and participating teams for the 2024 season of the National Badminton League. With various divisions catering to schools, supper clubs, and corporates the action-packed tournament will commence from April 6 to April 20, 2024.

In the School League, the Primary Division boasts a competitive lineup featuring Green Valley Primary School, St Catherine Primary School, Seeta Primary School, and The Aga Khan Primary School.

Meanwhile, the Boys Division sees heavyweights like Kinawa High School Mugongo, St Micheal International School, and Kakungulu Memorial School vying for supremacy.

The Girls Division promises intense battles with powerhouses such as Kinawa High School Mugongo and Gayaza High School in contention.

Moving to the Supper League Season 2, prestigious institutions like Victoria University and Ndejje University will lock horns with clubs like CFK Patriots Badminton Club and Pearl Badminton Academy.

The Corporates League Season 2, on the other hand, will witness corporate entities including State House, Ministry of Works, and Equity Bank showcasing their badminton prowess.

Last season, CFK Badminton Academy won the Corporate Category while Ndejje University won the professional category. The games will take place at the Lugogo Indoor Arena.
