With eight games to the Nile conference in the basketball Africa league (BAL) tip off, Uganda’s representatives City Oilers have added six foreign-based players to the team which already has six local based stars.
The added players include; Dane Miller Jr Anthony, Opong Odoch Robinson, Brandon Sebirumbi, Rembert Patrick Ronald, Ahmed Bashir Mohammed and Khaman Maluach.
The local-based roster meanwhile has Allawi Ssenkubuge, Tony Drilleba, James Okello, Titus Lual, Fayed Baale and Ivan Muhwezi. The nine-time Uganda champions are already in Egypt ahead of the games commencement on April 19th as they open against defending champions AL Ahly at Hassan Mostafa Indoor Sports Complex in Cairo.
The group also has debutants Al Ahly of Libya and Bangui Sporting Club of Central African Republic.
