Companies Come Together for Second Outing of 2024 Corporate Games

The second outing of the 2024 Corporate Games unfolded on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Bishop Cyprian Kihangire’s Dove Stadium in Luzira. The event saw a variety of sporting activities, including basketball, mini-football football, and more.

Companies from diverse sectors, such as Statehouse Uganda, Jesa Farm Dairies, Airtel Uganda, Darling Uganda, Uganda Baati, Uganda Airlines and NBS Sport, among others took part in the different activities.

Participants NBS Sport talked to emphasized the unifying power of such events, highlighting how they bring employees together in camaraderie and friendly competition.

Richard Okot, the vice chairman of the corporate games, provided insights into the second outing, stating:

“Today, we had over 40 companies at the Dave Stadium, each bringing their wealth of experience to foster networking opportunities.”

He also shed light on the upcoming third outing scheduled for next month, confirming that netball will be featured as a new addition.

The game will be played 7 aside, with 5 ladies and 2 men, as part of their focus on promoting team building within participating companies.

The games are played every second Sunday of the month with the third outing scheduled for 12th May 2024 at the same venue.
