X, formerly known as Twitter, has seen Ugandans embrace the International Schools Alumni League with humorous posts after a video was posted explaining how the alumni league was set to kick off.

The league, which is the first of its kind, is scheduled to begin in June 2024 and will run for 12 weeks, featuring only 8 international schools every Saturday at Legends Ground in Kampala.

The buzz surrounding X started when some alumni from former ‘international schools’ felt left out, along with the recognition that international schools are known for their good command of the English language.

The alumni leagues have been taking Ugandans by storm the most recent being the Ntare League which hosted the year’s finale from Kigali, Rwanda after they were hosted by President Paul Kagame an Old Boy of the school.
