From the outset, the Lady Dolphins asserted their dominance, establishing a significant lead by the end of the first quarter with a score of 28-15. Their momentum never waned as they continued to outpace the Miracle Ravens in every subsequent period, showcasing both their offensive prowess and defensive solidity.
Ekone Brenda was a standout performer for the Lady Dolphins, leading the team with 25 points and shooting an impressive 80% from the field. Brenda’s efficiency was highlighted by her conversion of 12 out of 15 field goal attempts, including a critical three-pointer.
Evelyn Nakiyinji also made significant contributions, adding 16 points and 7 rebounds, while Hope Akello recorded a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Becky Keren Longom dominated the paint, contributing 8 points and pulling down 16 rebounds.
On the other side, the Miracle Ravens struggled to find their rhythm, particularly in their shooting. Susan Amito was a bright spot for the Ravens, scoring 17 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Despite Amito’s efforts, the team had a dismal shooting night, especially from beyond the arc, converting only 5 of their 23 three-point attempts.

Fast break points were another area of superiority for the Lady Dolphins, outscoring the Ravens 33-8 in this category.
The JKL Lady Dolphins remain at the top of the standings with 33 points and will look to maintain their winning run as they face Nabisunsa on Sunday 26th May.
Now in 5th place with 26 points, the Miracle Ravens will need to address their offensive inefficiencies and regroup to bounce back as they face the YMCA Lady Hamsters on Saturday 25th May.
