KIU Titans’ Head Coach Julius Lutwama has expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance following six wins in six games but cautioned against complacency as they approach a crucial stage in the competition.
“Iam happy with the team’s performance,” remarked Coach Lutwama. “We have managed to achieve six in six, something that makes us more confident of the future.”
Despite his satisfaction with the form so far, Coach Lutwama acknowledged that there were aspects of the game that needed improvement.
“There are many things that haven’t worked out for us and we hope to address all of them in the next game,” he stated.
The Titans beat the Jaguars 82-56 on Sunday with notable performances from Zuri Campbell, Pierre Kasereka Tembo, Joel Lukoji Banza, and Peter Obleng.
With the Titans not in action for Gameweek 18, Coach Lutwama highlighted the importance of maintaining momentum as the Titans prepare for their upcoming match against the Namuwongo Blazers on June 7th.
“Now we are going back to the drawing board to correct the wrongs as we look forward to the next game,” he affirmed.
The Titans are second in the National Basketball League standings with 31 points, two behind league leaders Namblazers.
