All Set for Comboni League Beach Bash at Coco Beach

The Comboni League, a tournament for the alumni of Bishop Comboni College Kambuga, is set to host the eagerly awaited Beach Bash this weekend at Entebbe’s Coco Beach.

The event, part of the ongoing Season 8 themed “Season Mpaka Kuhurira Bubi,” is scheduled for Saturday, June 8th, commencing at 10 a.m. and continuing until late in the evening.

Participants and stakeholders of the Bishop Comboni College Kambuga community can anticipate a day brimming with entertainment and activities. The itinerary includes volleyball, networking opportunities, and a variety of refreshments. The event also promises surprise guest appearances, aiming to maximize enjoyment for all attendees.

Babu Emmanuel Buhaburwa, the Chairman of the Comboni League, announced that entry to the event has been subsidized, with a fee of UGX 8,000 per person. He further revealed that transportation has been organized from Makerere University, with buses departing at 9 a.m. for a subsidized fee, ensuring convenient access for attendees.

Thanks to a partnership between the Comboni League and NBS Sport, updates and highlights from the Beach Bash will be broadcast on the TV channel following the event.

Currently in its fifth episode of Season 8, the Comboni League features 12 teams competing in a league format, further emphasizing the vibrant and competitive spirit of this community initiative.
