Increased CEO Participation Marks Fourth Corporate Games Outing

On the chilly Sunday morning of June 9th, 2024, corporate participants gathered for the fourth outing of the Corporate Games, undeterred by drizzles that transformed the fields into muddy battlegrounds. Companies’ representatives, including top executives, competed in soccer and basketball, showcasing a strong spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship.

The fourth outing served as preparation for the highly anticipated CEOs’ outing scheduled for August 11th, 2024. Notable participants included Dr. Omagino John, Executive Director of the Uganda Heart Institute, who praised Corporate Games Uganda for fostering unity among companies through sports. Dr. John highlighted the games’ benefits, emphasizing their role in promoting physical fitness, facilitating networking, and creating social and business connections.

The basketball court was a hub of excitement as teams competed for dominance. Dr. Musaana Othiniel, Consultant and Gynecologist at St. Francis Nsambya Hospital stood out for his leadership, guiding his team to victory with determination and passion.

Amidst the competitions, the event strengthened friendships as players from different companies cheered each other on and shared moments of sportsmanship and respect.

The Corporate Games continues to serve as a platform for teamwork, leadership, and healthy living within the corporate community. The fifth outing is scheduled for July 14th, 2024, with games running according to the sports calendar.
