KIU Titans’ Ahmed Kassa Stable After Surgery, Out for Three Months

Shooting guard Ahmed Kassa of the KIU Titans is in stable condition after undergoing successful surgery for a fibula fracture in his right leg.

The injury occurred following a road accident early on Saturday morning with the 23-year-old athlete now expected to be sidelined for at least three months.

KIU basketball team officials confirmed Kassa’s stable condition. Meanwhile, Kassa’s teammates are gearing up for today’s game against the JKL Dolphins as they aim to recover from their defeat to the City Oilers.

In addition to Kassa, the KIU Titans will be without the services of Peter Obleng and Joel Lukoji Banza, who are also nursing injuries.
