Kitara Football Club have secured a significant boost ahead of their inaugural campaign in the CAF Confederations Cup, with striker Jude Semugabi extending his contract for another year.
The talented forward, who initially joined last season, has committed to remaining with the Hoima-based club as they prepare for their continental challenge.
Semugabi’s prowess on the field is well-documented, having previously showcased his skills with clubs such as Kiboga Young, Mbarara City, and Ssingo in the Buganda Masaza Cup, where he finished as the top scorer with 8 goals in 2018.
In addition to Semugabi’s extension, Kitara has reinforced their squad with key signings. The acquisitions include Ronald Otti from BUL, along with David Ndihabwe and Fred Amaku from Maroons.
These additions are strategically aimed at bolstering the team’s capabilities ahead of their participation in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Under the guidance of head coach Brian Ssenyondo, Kitara is determined to make a significant impact in their maiden appearance in continental competition.
