City Oilers Outshine KIU Titans, Close in On Top Seed Position

The highly anticipated playoffs of the 2024 National Basketball League are set to tip-off, with intense matchups scheduled across various venues.

The fixtures promise thrilling basketball action, featuring the top eight teams in both the men’s and women’s categories.

On Wednesday, July 10, the Lugogo Indoor Stadium will host the opening games.

The women’s quarterfinal will see KIU Rangers face off against Miracle Ravens at 7:00 PM, followed by a men’s quarterfinal between Namuwongo Blazers and Our Savior at 9:00 PM.

Friday, July 12, brings more excitement with the KCCA Leopards taking on the JT Jaguars in a women’s quarterfinal at 7:00 PM.

The men’s quarterfinal between KCCA Panthers and UCU Canons will follow at 9:00 PM, both matches also at Lugogo Indoor Stadium.

The action moves to YMCA – Wandegeya on Saturday, July 13. JKL Lady Dolphins will battle UPDF Lady Tomahawks at 10:00 AM, and UCU Lady Canons will compete against Magic Stormers at 12:00 PM.

Later that day, the second leg of KIU Rangers versus Miracle Ravens will take place at 2:00 PM, followed by a men’s quarterfinal between City Oil and Kampala Rockets at 4:00 PM, and KIU Titans versus JT Jaguars at 6:00 PM.

Sunday, July 14, at Lugogo Indoor Stadium, will feature the second leg of the women’s quarterfinals starting with JT Jaguars versus KCCA Leopards at 10:00 AM, UPDF Lady Tomahawks versus JKL Lady Dolphins at 12:00 PM, and Magic Stormers versus UCU Lady Canons at 2:00 PM.

The men’s quarterfinals will see UCU Canons against KCCA Panthers at 4:00 PM, and JT Jaguars versus KIU Titans at 6:00 PM.

The series will continue on Wednesday, July 17, with the second legs for the men’s quarterfinals at Lugogo Indoor Stadium: Kampala Rockets against City Oil at 7:00 PM, followed by Our Savior versus Namuwongo Blazers at 9:00 PM.

The Playoff Semi finals will then kickoff on 2nd August.
