The rankings were revised on Thursday, July 18 following the completion of the European Championships and Copa America on Sunday.

Paul Joseph Put’s side is now placed 95th in the World, 21st in Africa, and first in the CECAFA region.

Argentina won the 2024 Copa America

Morocco remains the best footballing country in Africa a position they have held since they reached the semifinals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Meanwhile, the 2022 World Cup winners Argentina also did not move an inch, retaining the number one spot after winning the 2024 Copa America in the United States.

Spain won EURO 2024

European champions Spain improved from the eighth place to the third while the losing finalists England also rose from fifth to fourth.
