Lugazi Add Ian Amanya to Their Squad

As they gear up for the 2024-25 season, newly promoted Lugazi have brought in striker Ian Amanya from Kaaro Karungi on a two-year contract.

Amanya, who has also played for KL United Namasuba, Spartans Academy, and Kazo FC, is the sixth new signing for the Leaders.

He joins Emmanuel Obua, Nelson Mandela, Dennis Lubowa, Sharif Saaka, Wasswa Paul, and Adriko Rogers.

In early July, the Leaders appointed Sadick Sempigi as head coach and a few days later revealed Oliver Mbekeka as their new assistant coach.

The Leaders also hired Hambali Majojo as their new communications manager.

On the departure front, they have parted ways with their captain and defender, Savio Kabugo.
