UCU Canons and KCCA Panthers will be vying for the remaining semifinal spot in the men’s castle light national basketball league.
This encounter was originally scheduled for August 2 but was pushed further to accommodate the 3*3 Africa Cup.
Game three will separate the two teams at the Lugogo Arena on Wednesday evening which is tied one-all after game one and two of this three game series in the quarterfinals.
Panthers avenged Canons’ 80-60 victory in the first game by 79-62 in the second meeting.
The record champions City Oilers await the victor in today’s decisive game in the semifinals.
In the other men’s, Namuwongo Blazers will battle KIU Titans in the best of five series and the two sides will get the series underway on Thursday, August 15.
Meanwhile, the holders in the women’s category JKL Lady Dolphins will face JT Lady Jaguars whilst UCU Lady Canons are up against KIU Rangers in the semis.
