NBL Playoffs: JKL Staring At Successive Triumph

The Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations (FUBA) has announced the dates for the remaining games in the Women’s National Basketball League (NBL) playoff finals.

The series, which had been paused due to the FIBA 3×3 World Cup in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, will resume on Sunday, September 22.

The playoffs finals, which feature JKL Lady Dolphins and UCU Lady Canons, were put on hold after Game 5, with JKL leading the series 3-2.

Both teams have players participating in the ongoing FIBA 3×3 World Cup, which is set to conclude on Sunday, September 15.

Game 6 of the finals will take place on Sunday, September 22, at the MTN Arena in Lugogo. JKL Lady Dolphins are just one win away from clinching the title for the second consecutive year.

However, UCU Lady Canons will be fighting to stay in the competition and force a decisive Game 7.

Should the Mukono-based side win Game 6, the series will be tied at 3-3, setting up a thrilling Game 7 finale, which is scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, also at the MTN Arena.
