St. Mary’s Kitende excelled in netball, and Kibuli SS and Mbogo Mixed showcased their skills in badminton and table tennis.

In total, Uganda amassed an impressive haul of 38 medals, including 11 gold medals. This remarkable achievement solidified the country’s position as a regional sporting powerhouse.

Speaking at the trophy presentation, the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports expressed her immense pride and gratitude.

“I am thrilled by Uganda’s recent triumph at the 21st edition of the FEASSA 2024 games,” she stated. “Uganda emerged as the overall champion in both the Primary and Secondary School categories, and I am incredibly proud of our country’s exceptional performance.”

She further acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the athletes, coaches, and support staff, attributing the success to their combined efforts.

“I am grateful for your support, as Uganda’s success in the sports arena has been remarkable,” she added. “I express my gratitude to God and our sports sub-sector team for their outstanding work.”

The 2025 edition of the games will be held in Kalega, Kenya and Uganda will be looking to defend her title.
