With its unique theme of blending sports and showbiz, FNL once again proved why it’s a fan favorite, creating an unforgettable experience that set the perfect tone for the rest of the tourney.
The event kicked off with a bang as teams made their grand entrance with vibrant dance routines, some even accompanied by famous artistes.
Each team, limited to two National Basketball League (NBL) players and required to field at least one female player, showcased impressive skills, ensuring an even and thrilling competition.

Team Ba’fani, led by the National teams manager Albert Ahabwe and powered by Gazelles star Lydia Babirye, delivered a particularly notable performance.
They dominated Team Luol Deng Foundation with a 29-22 victory and then narrowly edged Leticia Awor’s Team Comfort 20-19 in a nail-biting game that had fans on the edge of their seats.
