The game, held on Thursday afternoon, saw the Ugandan champions execute a masterful performance, both offensively and defensively, to secure the emphatic win.
Led by Germaine Roebuck Jr., who posted an impressive 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals, the Oilers capitalized on their efficient shooting and relentless rebounding to outmatch their counterparts.
Roebuck’s shooting accuracy (53.85% from the field) and composure at the free-throw line proved pivotal in building an unassailable lead.
Israel Oyoro Otobo also delivered a standout performance, contributing 13 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. His dominance in the paint was complemented by Fayed Baale’s steady scoring, who chipped in 9 points, 3 rebounds, and a steal in his 18 minutes on the court.
The Oilers were clinical on the boards, out-rebounding Fox Basketball Club 52-37.
