Corporate Games Uganda, a sports management association dedicated to “Inspiring Corporates through Sports,” has announced its key partners for the 2025 season.
The games are set to commence on March 2nd, 2025, at the NEC FC Grounds in Bugolobi.
This year’s Corporate Games boasts an impressive lineup of partners, including NBS Sport and Next Media Group as Official Media Partners, ensuring extensive coverage of the events.
Ritz Medical Centre joins as the health partner, providing crucial medical support to all participating corporate athletes. NEC UZIMA LTD will keep participants hydrated as the official water sponsor, while NEC FC Grounds will host all the sporting action.
Node Group will handle PR and marketing, with additional support from High5Media and CIPI Events.
“We are incredibly grateful to our partners for believing in this cause of promoting employee wellbeing and the power of networking between the private sector and Government,” said Ian Rumanyika, Chairman of Corporate Games Uganda.
“Corporate sports unlock opportunities, and I hope more companies can embrace this vision and join us in this exciting season and be part of this big corporate adventure.”
The 2025 season promises a diverse range of sporting disciplines, including Soccer, Aerobics, Athletics, Netball, Volleyball, Basketball, Swimming, Tug of war, Kart racing, Cycling, Woodball, Corporate Chess, and fun games like Sack racing, Kwepena, and Paintball (Target Shooting).
Games will be held every second Sunday of the month, running from March to November, culminating in an annual awards dinner in December.
Corporate Games Uganda emphasizes the benefits of participation, highlighting the opportunity for external team building, brand promotion to over 4,000 corporate staff and the general public, and improved physical fitness for employees.
In addition to the 2025 season launch, Corporate Games Uganda announced the distribution of 1,000 Mama Kits to expectant mothers in Northern and Eastern Uganda.
These kits were made possible through the proceeds of the Corporate Run held in October 2024 under the theme “Run for Expectant Mothers.”
The distribution will take place at Unyama Health Centre III in Gulu City (Northern Region) and Nawandala Health Centre III in Iganga District (Eastern Region). Medical personnel from both centers were present to receive the kits.
“The Corporate Run wasn’t just about crossing the finish line; it was about making a meaningful impact on the lives of expectant mothers in our communities,” said Richard Okot, Vice Chairman of Corporate Games Uganda.
The 2025 Corporate Run will support expectant mothers in Health Centre IIIs within the Karamoja sub-region, which comprises nine districts.
