In an exclusive interview with FIFA, Harry Kane has set his sights firmly on lifting the coveted FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ trophy with FC Bayern München.

“To win it,” Kane responded confidently when asked about Bayern’s ambitions. “We’re one of the best teams in the world, without a doubt, so every tournament we go into, the idea is to win.”

The tournament, set to take place in the USA, offers Kane and Bayern a unique challenge.

Drawn into Group C alongside CA Boca Juniors, SL Benfica, and Auckland City FC, Bayern faces fierce competition.

However, Kane is optimistic, emphasizing the hunger within the squad to make history.

“We know it’ll be tough, of course,” he said. “But once we’re there in June, I think there’ll be a real hunger to try and be the first ones to win this tournament.”

The interview also delved into Kane’s personal journey at Bayern. Reflecting on his 18 months with the club, he expressed gratitude for the warm reception from fans and shared how he has adapted his playing style under new head coach Vincent Kompany.

This season, Bayern has reclaimed dominance in the Bundesliga and advanced to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, with Kane delivering a hat-trick in their recent triumph over Bayer Leverkusen.

Kane also revealed his meticulous approach to penalty-taking, a hallmark of his career. From studying goalkeepers to maintaining a consistent routine, he emphasized preparation and execution as the keys to success.

“The way I train with my penalties is exactly the way I execute them in the game,” he explained.

With the countdown to the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ well underway, Kane remains focused on immediate challenges in the Bundesliga and Champions League but is eager for the opportunity to compete against the world’s best clubs.
