Her fluent 36 off 26 balls in the final match played a key role in Uganda’s successful run chase, underlining her consistency and value at the top of the order.

Namibia’s Wilka Mwatile earned the coveted Player of the Tournament award for her all-round contributions.

Mwatile scored 102 runs across the six-match series and took 6 wickets for 111 runs.

Her early breakthrough in the final match gave Namibia hope, and her explosive 21 not out off just 7 balls at the back end of the first innings helped the Eagles to a competitive total.

Uganda’s Aweko Consy was awarded Bowler of the Tournament after collecting 6 wickets for 92 runs across the series. Her economical spells and timely breakthroughs were vital in containing Namibia’s strong batting line-up.

Namibian captain Suné Wittmann, while reflecting on the series, praised her young squad for their growth, singling out Mekelaye Mwatile and Kayleen Green for their composure under pressure.
