Lucas Bergvall’s standout performance against West Ham has given Tottenham manager Thomas Frank a tough decision to make.
While new signing Xavi Simons is still finding his feet, the 19-year-old Bergvall stole the show, scoring a goal and providing an assist in the 3-0 win.
Frank praised Bergvall’s energy and enthusiasm, but the young midfielder’s success presents a “nice problem” for the manager.
Simons was brought in to be the team’s creative spark, and his best position is as a No. 10.
With Bergvall proving he deserves regular minutes and the midfield already solidified by the likes of Palhinha and Sarr, Frank now faces a difficult choice on how to fit both talented players into the team.
